Data Deletion Instructions

VoltCRM ("VoltCRM", "we", "us"), a product of AppNerds, provides a customer-relationship management and AI-assisted messaging platform, including messaging over channels such as SMS and the WhatsApp Business Platform. This page explains how to request deletion of the personal data we hold about you.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@voltcrm.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

• Your full name;
• The phone number (including WhatsApp number) and/or email address associated with your data;
• The name of the business you were communicating with through VoltCRM, if you know it.

We will verify the request and delete the associated personal data — including message content and contact records we process — within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations. We will confirm by email when the deletion is complete.

If a business manages your data

VoltCRM's customers are businesses that use our platform to manage their own contacts and conversations. For those "Contact" records, the business is the data controller and VoltCRM acts as a processor on its behalf. If your data was collected by a business you interacted with, you may also contact that business directly to request deletion; we will assist them in fulfilling your request. A business using VoltCRM can delete a contact's records directly within the platform at any time.

WhatsApp & messaging

To stop receiving WhatsApp messages, you can message the business to opt out or ask them to remove you; for SMS, reply STOP. Opting out stops future messages — to also delete stored message history and contact data, submit a deletion request as described above.
